How did you hear about the Arise® Platform?
I heard about the Arise® Platform through a Facebook ad. Ginger, my business partner who started Seeing Angels Two by Two, posted the ad saying she was looking for agents. I went to her webinar to learn more and even found out that our husbands worked together!
Long story short, we partnered up and went for it and started using the Arise® Platform.
Seeing Angels Two by Two has been on the platform since 2006—17 years!
What do you like most about the Arise® Platform?
I just love the flexibility and being able to offer work from home opportunities to others.
What client do you service?
I have been providing data entry customer support for the speech and language technology client for about 4-5 years since it first came on the platform.
How has the Arise® Platform improved your personal life?
When I first started using the platform, I had four children who were in elementary school. I was driving a school bus back then, but I was able to quit driving the bus and be home with my kids, you know, for the school activities and their extracurriculars.
Having four kids is kind of—how do I say—time-consuming [laughs]. But now they are all adults and I get to do the same with my grandson.
I watched my kids grow up, and now I get to experience it with my grandson.
How would you describe what your typical day is like while servicing?
Well, I get up, get my coffee ready, wait for the grandson to get here, get him situated, and then go in my office to start servicing.
I’m in my room, and he’s in his doing his own thing—and that’s pretty much our day.
And then there’s the business part where I help my agents.
What do you like about running a business?
Well, you are your own boss—you have no one to answer to but yourself.
My kids used to make a joke because people would ask, “What does your mom do?”
And they would say, “I don’t really know what she does, but I know she works from home [laughs]!”
It’s really awesome! It’s so nice because I don’t have to punch a time clock or answer to anybody. It’s really nice.
What do you think has made you so successful when using the Arise® Platform?
I wish I knew because it can be a learning process! You know, just go with the flow, take it day-by-day. You learn to service and exceed if you persevere and don’t throw in the towel.
Do you have any advice for someone who is new to the Arise® Platform?
Go for it!
Honestly, the greatest thing is not having the certification fees now.
And once you’re done with the certification class, you’ll be earning money and working from home.
Think of the big picture!
Is there anything else you would like others to know—whether it’s about the program you service or the Arise® platform?
I think anybody and everybody who wants to work from home needs to give the Arise® Platform a chance.
Where else can you go to schedule your own hours?
I mean, there are other work from home companies, but I don’t know any that actually let you set your own schedule each week. I know I have had some agents come from other companies and they would give them a schedule to service between this time and that time each week. But on the Arise® Platform, you can change your schedule any time you need to work around you.
Sometimes people ask, “What if you don’t get call?”
I tell them, “As long as you are logged in to service at the time you schedule yourself, and available to take a call, you can earn money.”
Honestly, I wouldn’t have wasted 15 years using the Arise® Platform if it wasn’t a fantastic opportunity!
