How did you hear about the Arise® Platform?
Before using the Arise® Platform, I was helping the elderly and individuals with disabilities, mental health issues, and autism for 22 years.
I was a caregiver going into the elderly’s homes, taking care of them, helping them with daily activities, and just checking on their health and wellness. The work required a lot of heavy lifting and transporting people from one place to another. And after so many years of doing this, I ended up sustaining an injury, so I had to resign.
Luckily for me, my husband—he is always trying to look out for me and is such a caring person—was speaking to a friend of his who talked to me about the Arise® Platform.
How long have you been using the Arise® Platform, and what program do you service?
I started the tax software certification course in December, and I started servicing soon after.
What do you like most about the tax software client opportunity?
I think it’s the customer service aspect of it.
I’ve always loved working with people, and because I’m an open, empathetic, and caring person, I knew it wasn’t going to be hard speaking to other people and helping them.
Initially I was nervous about servicing, but once I realized that my mission was to help these customers, I finally started to relax. I started getting into my own flow—and everything worked out.
What do you like most about the Arise® Platform?
I have never experienced something like this before. I never knew this could happen to me.
I heard about people working from home, and I thought, “That must be amazing to work from home, have your own office, schedule your own hours—be your own boss!”
I was searching all over the place looking for an opportunity like this, and then this popped up.
It gave me the opportunity to start working from home, and I love that the Arise® Platform already had clients and courses to help me learn how to service.
It was just the whole experience. I never knew that this was possible! It was eye-opening for me, and I am so grateful.
How has your use of the Arise® Platform improved your personal life?
It has given me more time in my life honestly. I’m able to control when I work, and that has made my life more convenient.
I can now do more things: I’m a foodie, I love to travel, and I have my own YouTube channel.
Servicing on the Arise® Platform has given me the ability to work on my YouTube channel or any other things I love to do.
It has basically made it easier for me to enjoy my life.
How has your use of the Arise® Platform improved your professional life?
For me, when I first read the details about the tax software client opportunity, I was curious to see what I could learn about taxes.
But I am now learning how to run a business by using the Arise® Platform.
When I first started my YouTube channel, I did it because a lot of people were successful at it. But there’s a lot more to it than just starting a channel. You have to think about how you are presenting it.
And using the Arise® Platform has taught me a lot about how to present myself—and I really appreciate that.
What is the typical experience like for someone servicing on the tax software client opportunity?
If you take the certification course on the Arise® Platform, you’ll find it’s pretty easy to get into the groove of servicing, and if you love providing customer service, you would love the tax software client opportunity.
If you are going to provide customer service, you need to do it well.
You have to be an empathetic listener. You have to care about others to provide customer service, and you have what you’re doing—and do it well.
The Arise® Platform is not just a way to earn money—It’s much more than that.
Do you have any advice for those who are new to the Arise® Platform and/or the program you service?
My advice would be to know why you are using the Arise® Platform.
If you are trying to create your own business, the Arise® Platform is a very good starting point. They already have some opportunities for you to get your feet wet.
Take your time, read through the information, and just ask questions.
There are a bunch of people to ask questions, and you can always find out the information you need.
What do you think has made you so successful when using the Arise® Platform?
I think it’s my consistency and drive. I just want to succeed. I think the Arise® Platform gives you the opportunity to do that if that is what you want to do.
